River, foothills, and mountains
Ogden sits where city parks and river paths meet the Wasatch foothills. You can choose a short, low-commitment walk or build a full day around trails, nature, water, or nearby mountain recreation.

An hour or less
Use Mt. Ogden Park, a short section of the Ogden River Parkway, or the Ogden Botanical Gardens when time or weather is limited.
A half day
Combine trails and habitat at the Ogden Nature Center, or pair a foothill trail with another stop in town.
A mountain day
Continue east into Ogden Valley for reservoir access, mountain trails, and seasonal recreation. In winter, use the Winter Sports guide.
